This is a prototype 6-string solid body based on the Model R shape featuring a woodblock print collaboration with artist Campbell Steers which shows a heron in flight. This guitar has a spherical top and back which is also tapered. I used tempered spruce for the body, tempered maple for the neck and redwood for the top.
This guitar sounds KILLER!! Note the Callaham bridge and tail piece with Lollar gold-foil reproduction pickups set in ebony retainers. I've gotten great response for this guitar and I'll be making a bunch more!
